I live in chronic pain. The reason for my pain, is Endometriosis. I was diagnosed through surgery when I was 17. I have decided to have this blog, so that those in my life can get a peek into my day to day issues that affect my life in every way.

Feel those Boobies

So apparently its been over a year since i made any updates at all on this blog well i cant even tell you whats happened in that time, i will however say whats been going on in the last month or so.

I have a lump, a tumor in my boobie.

I went in just for screening even though i am "young" for a mamogram but i also fall under the category of "high risk". I was last in for screening 6years ago, its been this long as i've been without a local family doctor for that long and only got one within 150kms in the last 12months (150kms without a license and living in the country may as well be another province).

So the story goes as such...

February 4th i had my "routine screening" Mammogram
February (forget what day) was my call back apointment due to "blurry images" Mammogram and Ultrasound on my one side, told i will need a Biopsy
March 11th I had a Core-needle Biopsy
March 18th got some "results" well only some (details in next post when i can sit and write it all out)

Coming up next

Tuesday April 2nd is my MRI
____________ (once MRI in surgeons hands) i will be getting my appointment to meet my surgon
____________ My lumpectomy will be booked. Once Tumor out they will study it more than i will know for sure if i have breast cancer at 26 or not.

So as it stands told i have at best case "pre-cancerus cells" at worst "cancerous cells" in the tumor i was also told on the 18th that its about a 60% chance i have breast cancer.

Oh but dont worry the reason i started this blog, Endometirosis hasn't forgotten about me either i still have that going strong (my mirena IUD i've now had for over 2years just doesn't do much to help my situation) and my IC is still kicking my ass at times. IC was making my life hell shortly before Christmas but luckily a new medication has eased my suffering quite a bunch.

Will update more and explain more in detail later on this is just my quick "hey i haven't updated my blog in over a year" and also my "oh now that my family knows about my boobie situation i can vent about it anywhere i want and my blog is a good place to start.

Thats it for now, its 2:30am here and we're heading to bed soon, first night of switching over to night shift not going super well but we'll likely make it till 3am and that is not to bad either.
So please ladies, (and well even gentlemen as you too can have breast cancer) feel your boobies! cause even if you think only "older" people get breast cancer your wrong and there are ladies who are died before their 30th birthday who thought like that and later found a lump....
